Der Ausschnitt dieser Replik zeigt den Widersacher Gaumata besiegt am Boden liegend, den Fuß des Großkönigs auf seiner Brust. Adelige Familien, die sich gegen den König gestellt hatten, stehen gefesselt davor. Über dem König schwebt die Darstellung des Farvahar (des Symbols des zoroastrischen Schöpfergottes Ahura Mazda), wohl als Legitimation.

Dieses Relief ist eine Besonderheit, weil es in drei Sprachen (altpersisch, elamisch und babylonisch) verfasst wurde. Erst damit war es überhaupt möglich, die assyrische und elamische Keilschriften zu entziffern. Das vollständige Originalrelief ist ca. 5,5 m lang und 3 m hoch.

The section of this replica shows the adversary Gaumata lying defeated on the ground, the leg of King Dareios I. on his chest. Representatives of noble families, who had stood up against the king, stand tied before him. Above the king hovers the representation of Farvahar (the symbol of the Zoroastrian creator god Ahura Mazda), most likely as a form of legitimation.

This relief is a special object because it is written in three languages: Old Persian, Elamite and Babylonian. This made it possible to decipher Assyrian and Elamite cuneiforms. The complete, original relief is about 5.5 m long and 3 m high.
